Exeter professionals inaugural netball tournament triumphs at Exeter University

Porter Dodson proudly hosted its inaugural mixed netball tournament at Exeter University on Thursday 27^th March 2025, bringing together the local business community in a celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Seven prominent teams from across Exeter, representing firms including Bishop Fleming, Greenslade Taylor Hunt, Prydis, Simpkins Edwards, Stags, Shipman Wealth, and Porter Dodson, engaged in exhilarating competition throughout the afternoon. The tournament culminated in a thrilling final between Simpkins Edwards and host team Porter Dodson, with Porter Dodson clinching a narrow victory by a single goal after an intense match that ended in a draw at full time. Simpkins Edwards secured the second-place position and Stags claimed third.

Beyond the competitive matches, participants took the opportunity to network and forge connections over refreshments, enhancing the community spirit that defines Exeter's business landscape. Plans are already underway to expand and elevate next year's event, promising even greater excitement and engagement.
