Upon completion, Evelyn commented “It was a pleasure to work with Unison on such a high-profile local transaction which secures the future of such a prestigious hotel. It was a real team effort from Porter Dodson, providing expertise in many areas to support the purchase.”
A representative from Unison Triumph Investments (UK) Limited commented “We would like to thank Evelyn, Ben and the team for the outstanding legal support and guidance provided throughout this acquisition. It is much appreciated.”
Acting for the buyer, Matthew Smith, Partner at Knight Frank Hotels Brokerage Team said, “Located on the Jurassic coastline 14 miles from Exeter, the hotel attracted considerable interest resulting in a sale to an overseas investor and demonstrates the demand for highly profitable, well-maintained hotels in prime coastal locations.”
