Bio

I trained and have always worked in the South West. I joined Porter Dodson as a partner in 2010 when Porter Dodson and Batt Sanders & Bennett merged. I have specialised in commercial property for over 20 years.

I work for individuals and companies of varying sizes, including a national trade counter occupier with an annual turnover of £300m for whom I have acted in excess of 10 years.

I have been recommended in The Legal 500 for commercial property. My Legal 500 recommendation has referred to me being ‘commercially minded’. Over the years, I have built up a wide technical field of expertise and I find I can use this to propose solutions to difficult problems. I always seek to be pragmatic and find a way to get the transaction done and still enjoy getting each deal completed.

I particularly enjoy good theatre so I often go to Bath to pick up pre and post-West End touring productions. I find swimming and badminton good stress relievers and I appreciate the fresh air and views from a good walk, (especially if it’s not raining and there is a tea shop at the end of it).
