Porter Dodson is pleased to announce its involvement in securing vital leases for HTG-UK's new Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) contract in Norfolk and Waveney. The contract, awarded by the NHS, will launch on 1st October 2024, providing essential patient transport services across the region.

HTG-UK required three new ambulance stations to support the delivery of the contract, and Porter Dodson’s expert Commercial Property team, led by Victoria Walker and Louise Sanders, was instructed in June 2024 to act on securing the necessary leases. The team successfully completed all three leases by August 2024, ensuring that HTG-UK was fully prepared to commence operations for the NEPTS contract.

Commenting on the successful completion, Louise Sanders, a Partner at Porter Dodson, said: "We are delighted to have supported HTG-UK in securing these leases within a tight timeframe. It was essential that the ambulance stations were in place before the service launch in October, and we are proud to have contributed to the successful mobilisation of this important healthcare service."

The NEPTS contract will cover a broad range of patient transport services, including outpatient journeys, renal transport, discharges, High Dependency Unit (HDU) transport, and secure mental health transfers.

Porter Dodson Solicitors is proud to support HTG-UK in this significant project and looks forward to continuing its work in delivering legal solutions for healthcare and commercial property needs.
