Bio

I joined the Private Client team at Porter Dodson in June 2025, bringing with me over 22 years of experience from another local firm. With a degree in English, I chose to qualify through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and have proudly been a Fellow since June 2017.

My work primarily involves advising individuals and families on Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs). I’ve had the privilege of supporting multiple generations within the same family, often drafting documents for grandparents, parents, and children at the same time.

In probate matters, I work closely with a wide range of executors and trustees—from professional Trust Corporations to family members—guiding them through the process with care and clarity.

I provide tailored advice on all types of Wills, from straightforward documents for modest estates to complex arrangements involving high-value assets, trusts, and tax planning. My expertise also includes non-contentious probate (with or without a Will), for both taxable and non-taxable estates, as well as Deeds of Variation.

Clear and compassionate communication is at the heart of my approach. Whether by phone or email, I ensure my clients feel informed and supported every step of the way. Clients often commend my friendly, diligent manner and my ability to truly listen and remember what matters most to them.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition. I love experimenting with new recipes from magazines and newspapers, reading in the sunshine, and enjoying drama series with my family.
