Bio

I joined Porter Dodson as a Legal Advisor in the private client department in June 2025, having previously worked at a law firm in Essex. I have experience advising on a broad range of private client matters and have been recognised by The Legal 500 for work in Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping clients understand their options. I aim to provide clear advice and steady support, particularly when clients are dealing with stressful or unfamiliar situations.

I advise on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate administration, assisting clients both during their lifetime and following the death of a loved one.

A significant part of my work involves intestacy, where someone has died without leaving a valid Will. In these cases, I help families navigate the legal process by supporting applications for Letters of Administration, explaining the rules of intestacy, identifying beneficiaries, and dealing with inheritance tax and estate liabilities. My focus is always on helping families understand what needs to be done and guiding them through each step with sensitivity and attention to detail. My clients describe me as professional, approachable and kind, which I feel is particularly valuable in intestacy cases where the lack of a Will can cause confusion or disputes amongst family members.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and spending time with my family.
