Porter Dodson supports strategic acquisition of PhoenixTM Ltd

 Porter Dodson’s Corporate Commercial Team is pleased to announce its role in supporting Assessimus UK Limited, part of the wider Assessimus Group, in the successful purchase of PhoenixTM Ltd. The Assessimus Group is an international provider of Testing, Inspection, and Certification services for industries where safety, quality, and certainty are paramount.

This acquisition marks a significant step in the growth and development of the business, enabling further expansion into the manufacturing of electronic industrial process control equipment.

Following completion in October, former owners and current directors, Ian Budden and Michael Taake, will continue in their roles as directors, ensuring the PhoenixTM business benefits from their expertise and experience as they enter this next phase of growth.

The transaction was led by David Culshaw, Corporate Commercial Partner, with support from Matthew Jackson, Associate Solicitor, and Tara Searle, Trainee Solicitor. Employment aspects of the transaction were managed by Laura Roper, Employment Partner.
