Porter Dodson’s Corporate Commercial Team is pleased to announce its role in advising a long-standing client in connection with the successful sale of the entire issued share capital of Eloquent Technologies Limited to BDR Group Holdings Limited.

Eloquent Technologies, a Taunton-based provider of Managed IT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Services for the B2B market, has been a valued client of Porter Dodson for over a decade. The firm has supported Eloquent through key stages of its growth journey, culminating in this strategic transaction that aligns with BDR Group’s ambitious 2025 expansion strategy.

The transaction was led by Evelyn Adfield, Head of Corporate Commercial, with support from Solicitor Lily Adam, acting for founder and Managing Director David Ford. David has built Eloquent into a respected national technology provider since its incorporation in 2009, and was committed to securing a future for the business that reflects its values and customer-first ethos.

David Ford commented, “In BDR Group, we’ve found a family-run business that shares our values, puts customer service at the heart of everything they do, and is committed to continuing what we’ve built. I’m confident our clients are in excellent hands moving forward.”

The acquisition reflects a strong cultural and operational alignment between Eloquent and BDR Group, promising a smooth integration and enhanced service capabilities for clients.

Porter Dodson is proud to have played a key role in this milestone and remains committed to supporting businesses across the region with expert legal guidance tailored to their commercial goals.
