I work in the Children Team, dealing with parental disputes and cases involving local authorities and Children’s Social Care. Before joining Porter Dodson in March 2020, I had been working as a paralegal for over two years.
I completed my law degree at the University of Sheffield in 2017 and the Legal Practice Course in the summer of 2020. I am currently undertaking a Masters in Law at UWE.
I pride myself on taking a friendly and empathetic approach, making it my priority to get to know my clients and understand their objectives, which enables me to give personal, tailored advice. I go out of my way to ensure clients feel supported during what are, undoubtedly, challenging and stressful times.
Outside of work, I play netball competitively for a local team and enjoy taking part in charity events, particularly those with an element of risk, having completed a tandem skydive for the Alzheimer’s Society. I have recently purchased a house, which is in real need of some TLC, so when I’m not working, you can usually find me with a paintbrush or hammer in hand.
