Porter Dodson Solicitors celebrate successful completion of acquisition deal for David and Charles

Porter Dodson Solicitors were pleased to be involved with the successful completion of an asset purchase agreement between David and Charles and Veloce Publishing, assisted by our Employment Team and our Corporate Commercial team in Exeter. The acquisition, finalised on February 1st 2024, marks a significant milestone for both companies involved. 

David and Charles has acquired Veloce Publishing for an undisclosed sum, signalling a strategic move to expand its presence in the publishing industry. The acquisition includes the renowned Veloce, Hubble & Hattie, and Earthworld imprints, as well as the transfer of Veloce staff and all UK and international distribution and sales relationships. 

Veloce Publishing has long been recognised as a market leader in the automotive genre, with a catalogue of specialist titles for classic car, classic motorcycle, and motorsport enthusiasts. With this acquisition, David and Charles affirm their commitment to maintaining and enhancing Veloce's legacy while exploring new avenues for growth and innovation.
