Porter Dodson advises HTG-UK Limited on acquisition of Safe Care Transport Ltd

Porter Dodson Solicitors is pleased to announce the successful completion of the acquisition of Safe Care Transport Ltd by Health Transportation Group UK Limited (HTG-UK). HTG-UK, a prominent provider of non-emergency healthcare patient transport services, has acquired the entire issued share capital of Safe Care Transport Ltd, which specialises in mental health transport services in Cornwall and the South West.

This acquisition is a key part of the growth and development of the business of HTG-UK, which is part of the larger Health Transportation Group, a company owned by a Spanish parent organisation. Safe Care Transport Ltd operates the business known as Therapeutic Response, which has been a key partner of HTG-UK in the mental health transport sector.

The transaction will enable further expansion and collaboration in the sector and ties in with HTG-UK’s recent award of the new Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service contract in Norfolk which incudes secure mental health transfers. The former owners and directors of Safe Care will continue in their roles under HTG-UK allowing HTG-UK to draw on their substantial expertise.
