Karen’s recent work includes:

• Representing a husband who sought to terminate a periodical payment order that had been made against him in 2014. The Judge dismissed the wife’s application for enforcement, declared that the periodical payment order had ceased, and that the wife should pay the husbands costs.
  
  
• Representing a wife throughout financial remedy proceedings and securing a financial award which provided her with 54% of the matrimonial assets valued at circa £3.1 million.  The husband sought to appeal the Judge’s decision, but the award was upheld.  Enforcement proceedings had to be issued against the non-compliant husband, of which were successful, and the husband was ordered to pay the wife’s costs.
  
  
• Representing a husband who wished to retain this Armed Forces Pension.  Negotiating and securing a settlement which involved offsetting assets to enable the husband to retain his armed forces pension in full.
  
  
• Representing a father in his application for a child arrangements order following the mother withholding contact against the child’s wishes and feelings.  Secured a Child Arrangements Order recording when the child lives with each parent, which is enforceable should the mother withhold contact in the future.
