On Sunday 25th May 2025, seven committed runners from Porter Dodson Solicitors’ Exeter office laced up their running shoes to take part in the renowned Great West Run. Sponsored by Bishop Fleming and starting from Exeter Arena, the event saw our team take on both the Half Marathon and 10KM races — all in support of the Exeter City Community Trust.
Through their incredible efforts, our runners raised an impressive £1,285, which will go directly towards supporting the Trust’s vital work in health, education, and community engagement across Exeter.
Porter Dodson's team of runners — Kate James, David Culshaw, Chris Green, Tom Mottram, Lily Adam, Vicky Andrews, and Rebecca Shepherd — showcased not only their athletic commitment but also their unwavering support for the Trust's mission. Every stride they took represented a step towards a healthier, more inclusive Exeter.
At Porter Dodson, we are proud to call Exeter home to our newest office. Supporting the communities in which we live and work is central to who we are. We are equally proud of our runners for their dedication, determination, and commitment to such a meaningful cause.
Building Momentum for 2026
This year’s Great West Run also serves as the perfect warm-up for an exciting event in the year ahead: the Taunton Half Marathon in March 2026, where Porter Dodson will proudly be the headline sponsor. We look forward to continuing our support of community health and well-being in the South West through this landmark event.
