Resolution is a group of family lawyers, and other professionals, that promotes a non-confrontational approach to resolving family disputes. Members encourage solutions that consider the needs of the whole family - and in particular the best interests of children.

We follow a Code of Practice that includes treating everyone with respect and without judgement.

Resolution is supported by the Courts and senior legal professionals in the UK, including the judiciary.

What is the purpose of Resolution?

Resolution encourages good practice and supports training and development, seeking to ensure we are true experts in our field. It campaigns for changes in the law to benefit clients and to make disputes easier to resolve. Resolution operates nationally and locally.

Are Porter Dodson lawyers members of Resolution?
