I qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and joined the firm in October 2003. Since qualification, I have acted for clients on a wide range of employment and HR matters, together with undertaking some alcohol and gaming licensing work.
In the sphere of employment and HR I act for both businesses and individuals, giving effective legal advice on all aspects of HR and employment practice. My work includes taking and defending claims in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and in the higher appeal courts.
As well as individuals, I act for a broad range of businesses from SMEs to multinational companies. My clients include a large number of charities and GP practices.
I have recently been working on a number of the integration models affecting General Practice. This has included involvement in the legal fabric behind the local Vanguard initiative as well as being an advocate for practices on an array of different projects.
My experience allows me to provide effective advice to my clients thereby making the legal process as clear and straightforward as possible. I am approachable and committed, believing it important for there to be a close working relationship between solicitor and client.
My clients treat me as their trusted advisor, with my business clients believing me to be a crucial part of their HR team. Such relationships are fostered and maintained through regular face-to-face contact whether at one of our offices or at another location of the client’s choosing.
