Having trained in London, I have worked with Porter Dodson since 1989. I now practise exclusively in the area of children law, mainly in connection with applications by Local Authorities and child protection.
I represent parents and children in cases where a Local Authority is concerned that a child is suffering harm and takes action, both before and after court proceedings are issued.
Care proceedings can be very traumatic for everyone involved in the case. Legal advice is important because there are procedures to follow, court hearings to attend and paperwork to go through. However, parents also need help and support to guide them through what can be a very difficult time. We offer a personal service in meeting with clients and attending court hearings with them.
Leisure time is spent with family and friends.
5* service from both Meriel Corrigan and Sue Harris, could not have asked for any better. Meriel was always kind and considerate, and always kept me up to date with what was going on.
First class service. Meriel made sure I understood what was going on and always kept me informed.
