I joined Porter Dodson in 2015 after working at the Taunton Family Court for two years, further to obtaining a 2:1 Law Degree at Bristol University. In September 2020, I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in family law. Since joining the firm, I have worked in this area of law, which has enabled me to hone my skills and knowledge to a high level.

I currently specialise in divorce, resolving financial matters following a relationship breakdown, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, protection of inherited/ family wealth and cases involving family businesses. I also have a considerable amount of knowledge and experience dealing with pensions on divorce (SIPP, SAPP, Defined Benefit - Military, Police, Local Authority and NHS - and Defined Contributions).

I have represented clients in cases with varying degrees of complexity, ranging from the Family Court to the Court of Appeal.

Resolving disputes requires lateral thinking. I believe in the vast majority of cases, the challenge is not to eliminate conflict but to transform it from destructive battling to problem-solving. The ability to see a situation as the other side sees it, as difficult as it may be, is one of the most important skills a family practitioner can have.

In my spare time, I coach the U10’s at Taunton Rugby Football Club.

Excellent service from Levent Boreiko. Definitely money well spent. I couldn’t recommend Levent and the firm highly enough.

    Mr Williamson
