I joined Porter Dodson in 2015 after working at the Taunton Family Court for two years. I am in the process of completing my Chartered Institute of Legal Executive qualification looking to specialise in family law.
As the name suggests, family law is an umbrella term. I regularly assist individuals with all aspects of divorce, alongside cohabitation disputes (TOLATA), separation deeds and cohabitation agreements.
I seek practical and sensible solutions in financial proceedings, which enable both individuals to move on from a difficult time in their lives. I regularly work on the division of finances in divorce/dissolution involving businesses of all sizes, pre-marital assets, inherited assets and pensions.
I undertake advocacy in the County Court.
I provide commercial, proportionate and reasonable legal advice tailored to each individual case. I pride myself on being approachable and regularly available to assist and advice upon any issue which may crop up.
In understanding and listening, the solution to any problem is far easier to achieve.
I enjoy watching rugby and football. I am a keen runner and have run two marathons to date.
