I qualified as a Solicitor in 2019 having worked as a paralegal and undertaken my training contract at a national firm. Upon qualification, I joined Porter Dodson’s Dispute Resolution Team, specialising in contested wills, trusts and estate matters.
I advise clients in their capacity as executors, personal representatives, beneficiaries and trustees. I am able to assist with cases, including contesting a will, burial disputes, disputing the administration of an estate, disputes with executors and trustees, inheritance disputes and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975.
Having taken the time to listen to my client’s objectives, I provide pragmatic advice delivered in an uncomplicated manner. Throughout the course of dealing with a claim, I am mindful of both the financial risks of litigation as well as the emotional aspects for clients. I appreciate that most people do not have experience with court proceedings and so, where this course of action becomes necessary, I take the time to explain what steps are required.
I attend sewing classes as regularly as my diary permits. I aspire to one day be able to say that I have handmade most of the clothes in my wardrobe.
