I studied English Literature at undergraduate level before making the decision to pursue a career in law. Following the completion of my legal studies, I joined the firm in 2014 as a trainee Solicitor and I was admitted as a Solicitor in 2017.
I have diverse experience in all aspects of family law and specialise in the law surrounding children. I regularly act for parents, children and other members of the family, in cases involving Children’s Social Care and private matters between family members. I am an effective advocate and spend much of my time in Court representing clients.
My experience and knowledge allows me to quickly and accurately identify clients’ needs and to provide them with solutions that work. This allows clients to feel assured in what is an extremely difficult, emotional and often distressing time.
No one wants to find themselves in Court to resolve children and family issues but I offer straightforward advice delivered with a cool head, which puts my clients in the best possible legal position. I am able to give my clients confidence whilst offering unbiased, practical and realistic advice throughout the entire process, including representation at Court.
Having grown up and schooled locally in Sherborne, I have extensive knowledge of the local area and the communities that my clients are part of. I am an established practitioner in the Courts within the Dorset and Somerset area, whilst also representing clients further afield.
