    Money raised for Yeovil Freewheelers

Porter Dodson's Yeovil office has presented their charity of the year 2018-19, Yeovil Freewheelers, with a cheque.

The Yeovil office held regular fundraising activities, including a bake off, dress down Fridays, as well as running a tuck shop to help raise funds. This was then match funded by the Partners to bring the total to the grand total of £1,770.

Yeovil Freewheelers Blood Bikes is run by Yeovil Freewheelers (EVS), an Emergency Volunteer Service that supports Yeovil District Hospital, Dorset County Hospital and the community hospitals across the region. It provides emergency courier services for blood, platelets, blood and tissue samples, medication, breast milk, documents, X-rays, CT scans and equipment..

Cathryn Smith, Partner and Head of the Yeovil Office, commented: “I’m delighted we’ve been able to raise this money to support such a worthy local cause. Yeovil Freewheelers do an amazing job and help so many people when they desperately need it. I’d also like to thank everyone who has taken part in raising funds and helping us to support the charity over the past year.”
