Merlin is initially based in the Yeovil office and will focus closely on agricultural and older clients, advising on Wills, trusts and succession planning.
He has extensive experience, having worked in the South West since 1990, and has worked in Dorchester and the North Dorset area for the last 21 years, advising on complex client issues.
“This new role allows me to continue to specialise with clients in the rural economy/agricultural sector, but also widen the clients with which I can work,” explained Merlin. “The team at Porter Dodson is highly regarded for the Wills and estate planning work they undertake and can only help with the work I undertake for my clients.”
Merlin is well known across the area and his arrival at Porter Dodson comes as the rural offering from Porter Dodson continues to grow. “Merlin’s arrival further strengthens our team and the work it can undertake for our rural-based clients in Somerset and North Dorset,” said Robert Fox, Managing Partner at Porter Dodson.
“He is initially based in our Yeovil office and will start to operate across our office network in Somerset and Dorset in the coming months.”
Outside of work, Merlin likes to spend his free time in country pursuits and also likes art galleries/museums, concerts and plays, socialising and travel.
