Cara Hough

I have worked in dispute resolution since 2008 and qualified as a Solicitor in July 2011. I have lived and worked in the South West throughout this time. I joined Porter Dodson in November 2015.

I have gained extensive experience in probate and inheritance disputes (including claims for and against a Deceased’s Estate, personal representatives and trustees, and concerns with the validity of Wills). I also have extensive experience in property disputes with particular interest in disputes arising from co-ownership disagreements and the sale of a jointly owned property.

I am a full member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPs). My membership with ACTAPs and my particular specialism in contentious probate matters provides me with greater resources and knowledge than a member of the profession who may simply be aware of the area.

I am client focused and believe that effective solutions can be gained by taking the time to consider all issues. I am a firm believer in the saying ‘you get what you pay for’ and I believe that this is reflected in my handling of client matters.
