Somerset and Dorset Solicitors, Porter Dodson, are delighted to announce the appointment of Employment specialist solicitor Alan Sarhan to its Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Taunton.
The team, which has been included in the Legal 500 for the last three consecutive years, recently welcomed solicitor Ben Jones who will add to the team’s expertise in commercial and property disputes.
Alan, a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, provides practical legal advice to human resource managers, business owners, charities and schools.
His advice covers all aspects of the employment relationship from recruitment through to dismissal and includes advice on drafting employment contracts and policies, disciplinary, capability and grievance procedures, transferring employees, redundancies and discrimination.
Alan also advises on complex employment and industrial relations issues involved in mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing and restructuring. He has extensive experience representing clients before the civil courts and employment tribunals.
